I think it exists as many courgettes flan recipes as many French people. Everybody knows courgettes flan and I am not sure it is in a positive way for some...When I was a little girl, the courgettes flan was method of eating your greens in a different manner (not sure it worked for everyone though...). I tried my own version with my children and it worked, they liked it !!! The goat cheese add a subtle and smooth texture to the courgettes. Obviously very easy to do and healthy! If you wish a meaty note, you can eat this courgettes flan with some Parma ham...

ORANGE BLOSSOM HOT CHOCOLATE (LIKE IN VERSAILLES...)
Yes, the former Queen of France loved her hot chocolate ! And Marie-Antoinette enjoyed it with orange blossom ... "Chocolate was introduced into France in 1615, at the wedding of Louis
XII and Anna of Austria in Bayonne. At Versailles, the delicacy became a
culinary habit in all its forms under Louis XIV who popularized its
consumption at the Court. In the following century, however, Louis XV
was considered the greatest lover of the cocoa-based drink.
Occasionally, the King himself would prepare his own beverage in the
kitchens of his Private Apartments. Louis XV’s
favourites, including Madame du Barry, couldn’t resist the exotic
cocktail either, valued particularly for its qualities as an
aphrodisiac. At the same time, the first machines designed to
manufacture chocolate were created and several specialized workshops
were established in Paris.
In 1770, when Marie-Antoinette
married Louis XVI, she arrived at the Court of Versailles with her own
chocolate maker, who was given the very official title of “Chocolate
Maker to the Queen”... Source : "Château de Versailles"
I have attempted to recreate it then (lucky you, without the egg yolk and yeast they originally put in...).
For the chocolate I only used the Valrhona chocolate as it is absolutely exquisite. In addition, it is French and manufactured in a small town near Lyon. I advise you to use it if you can : your pastry or anything chocolaty will have such a better taste you have no idea...
